Occasionally, you will show up as being somewhere you aren't. The best way to repair this is to switch location services fast off and on, and your location should update to signify where you are. The small compass in the top right is used for focusing your view in the direction you are facing, so if for any reason you might need to do just that, then tap it. It's possible for you to rotate around using your fingers/thumb, or use two at a time, you can move closer and further from your character as you wish.

There are some ways for your trainer to make XP. Each level’s total XP requirement corresponds to the degree amount, so at 1000 XP, you finish degree one and go onto degree two, then 2000 XP afterwards, you move onto level three which needs 3000 XP before you can reach degree four and so on.
