Pokemon Go isn't just about taking care of and leveling your Pokemon --- it's about your encounter, too. It's possible for you to get levels as a trainer by catching Pokemon, researching PokeStops, and fighting at Gyms.
When you reach level five and visit a Gym, you will be asked to join one of three color-coded teams: Instinct (Yellow), Mystic (Blue), or Valor (Crimson). They're colour-coded based on the first U.S. names -- Pokemon Red, Pokemon Blue, and Pokemon Yellow: Special Pikachu Edition.
Defeating leaders in the Gym will lower its stature, but it'll take multiple battles against an identical Pokemon to reside in it for your team.
Teams are how you join up with your friends to make a dent on the planet.
Unlike Nintendo's games, the team you choose doesn't affect the type of Pokemon you come across in the wild, but it does issue for Gym battles. After picking a team, you will join millions of other players around the world; each team will work together to become the most successful. As with Niantic's previous title, Ingress, teams can turn Pokemon Go from a single-player experience to a group sport.
Once the egg is incubated, you'll have to walk physically --- sorry, would be cheats, but driving won't work --- a particular distance before the egg will hatch. Determined by the rarity of the Poke Egg you've found, that could be as little as 2 kilometers or up to 10 kilometers. And yes, you may need to walk with the app open for those steps to register. RIP battery life.
After you have collected enough of a single type of Pokemon, you'll be able to use the Candies to evolve it. Candy is Pokemon-specific, and can be used to level up any Pokemon in that evolutionary chain.
Development does not work the same way in Pokemon Go as it does in the classic games: Pokemon doesn't evolve or level upward after battles with other Pokemon Trainers.
When you occupy a gym, you not only help your team --- but you earn PokeCoins, too! Every 20 hours, you can see the Shop and redeem your coins, based on how many gyms you currently occupy.
Much like PokeStops, Gyms are genuine landmarks out in the world, and they're where all Pokemon battles happen. It's possible for you to claim them for your team, or help amount up a Gym already claimed for your team to build up its prestige. If your team's colour is in control of a Gym, you can train your Pokemon inside, one at a time. If a Gym is held by an opposing team, you'll have to battle the Pokemon standing guard to lower its stature and have a possibility of taking it over.
Along with providing you with the next evolutionary phase of a Pokemon, evolving will increase a Pokemon's CP and HP. CP represents how strong a Pokemon's strikes are while HP represents how much damage a Pokemon can take. Stats can also be increased by combining Candy and Stardust.
Gyms earn prestige when you train your Pokemon in one that your team controls, and lose stature when opposing teams win battles against the Pokemon left there. Your team's Gym will earn experience points to gain stature, which will amount to leveling up the Gym. As its amounts increase, so do the number of Gym Leaders. By way of example, if your Gym has reached level three, you can have three Gym Leaders in it, which makes it harder for opposing teams to overthrow.
The device includes a detachable band and a clip, so you could wear it in your wrist or lapel, or backpack, or wherever.
Entering a Gym trips a fun mini-game wherein you attack the opposing Pokemon, and dodge their attacks. While combating, you've got three choices: You can tap the screen to assault, press and hold the display to start a special assault, or swipe left or right to dodge an adversary's strike. Just as with traditional Pokemon games, the aim is to reduce your opponent's Pokemon to zero hit points.
As you reach higher degrees, you'll be able to fight at gyms, gain access to higher-quality PokBalls and other things, and help strengthen your Pokemon. If you've got a higher trainer amount than the players at a rival Gym, you've got a better possibility of taking it over. This is particularly true as it pertains to fighting multiple trainers to take over just one Gym.
There are some means for your trainer to earn XP. Each amount’s full XP demand corresponds to the amount number, so at 1000 XP, you conclude level one and go onto degree two, subsequently 2000 XP later, you move onto level three which needs 3000 XP before you can hit level four and so on. There's no way to battle in health clubs — the areas on your map with the gigantic Pokémon GO PokéStop in Wooderson QLD 4680 hovering over them, that look like some futuristic cone — without getting to degree five. How 's better to get there fast? Wiretap on every PokéStop you can. They have things in them when they're blue, and you get a little experience, which helps out a ton in the early goings. You can return to Pokéstops over and over, and they flip over pretty quickly (about five minutes as far as we can tell). As you walk around, you may feel your telephone vibrate. That means a Pokémon is near! Pat it, swipe to throw a Poké Ball at it, and it is yours. You'll get a lot of encounter for doing this, so do it as often as possible.
