Great balls unlock at level 12 and are better at getting pokemon, while ultra balls, which unlock at level 20 are even more useful for high-level pokemon. All three can be got at pokstops once you have reached the appropriate degree, and standard pokballs can be purchased with pokcoins from the Store.

You're given one incubator for free that has infinite uses, while added, three-use incubators can be found in pokstops or purchased with pokcoins. Eggs hatch after being incubated for a particular walking distance that depends on the particular egg (typically between two to five kilometers).

Okay, so for those people who haven't downloaded the game yet, this is for you. There'sn't much to say, as everything at this point is fairly self explanatory. But hey, we did swear to be the most all-inclusive guide.
So, upon loading up for the very first time, you will be requested to sign-in using either Google or Pokemon club. You'll be directed through finding your first Pokemon by Professor Willow, a flitting, white haired chap. The thing is, he guides you through locating your first Pokemon, but the way in which you locate it is completely different from how you'd find them from that point on.
This is fairly straightforward, and I'm hoping pretty much all of you found this out yourself. You need to use the map on your own telephone to navigate, by walking to wherever you need to be. There is more to it than that, though, and that is why there is a dedicated section.
Occasionally, you will appear as being someplace you aren't. The greatest way to fix this is to change location services quickly off and on, and your location should update to represent where you are. The small compass in the top right is used for centering your view in the direction you're facing, so if for any reason you might need to do just that, then tap it. You can rotate around using your fingers/thumb, or use two at a time, you can go closer and further from your character as you want.
So, once you have got the hand of really moving around, you will likely be heading to the nearest Pokestop, as instructed by our beloved friend Professor Willow.
These are important. When you are near one, be sure to visit it. Pokestops will supply you with valuable things like potions, Poke Balls, which are used really to catch Pokemon, and sometimes, eggs. Click on the blue square-like image on your map that signifies the Pokestop, and a circle should appear in your display showing you the location of the stop. It is typically a landmark of some kind, including a statue, church, or fountain. Spin the circle to have it spit out a number of goodies.
There are some methods for your trainer to get XP. Each level’s complete XP demand corresponds to the amount amount, so at 1000 XP, you finish degree one and move onto level two, then 2000 XP after, you move onto level three which needs 3000 XP before you can reach level four and so on.
