So, upon loading up for the very first time, you will be requested to sign-in using either Google or Pokemon club. You'll be directed through finding your first Pokemon by Professor Willow, a flitting, white-haired chap. The thing is, he guides you through finding your first Pokemon, but the way in which you find it's completely different from how you'd find them from that point on.
This is fairly easy, and I am expecting pretty much all of you figured this out yourself. You have to use the map in your telephone to navigate, by walking to wherever you have to be. There's more to it than that, though, and that is why there's a dedicated section.
Sometimes, you will show up as being somewhere you aren't. The best method to fix this is to change place services fast off and on, and your location should update to signify where you're. The little compass in the top right is used for focusing your view in the direction you are facing, so if for any reason you might have to do just that, then tap it. It's possible for you to rotate around using your fingers/thumb, or use two at a time, you can move closer and further from your character as you wish.
