Virtually everybody you speak to gives you meta-game guidance about Pokemon or Pokemon-related services. They'ren't people; they are an extended tutorial delivery service. The folks in Yo-Kai Watch, on the other hand, have distinct personalities and difficulties that you can choose to help them with. Frequently these issues can be solved by summoning or dispelling a Yo Kai, but they do not understand that. They simply know that their employee is inexplicably late for work, they lost an important toy, or they do not understand how to ask out the target of their affection.
